OSHA OUTREACH TRAINING PROGRAMS:
30-HOUR OSHA CERTIFICATE
In an effort to prevent accidents, the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) recommends the 30-hour Outreach Training Program for foremen, job supervisors, and anyone responsible for safety. These programs are designed to teach workers about their rights and how to identify, reduce, avoid and prevent job-related hazards.
Authorized OSHA programs are designed for the construction and general industries, with some mandatory courses and some electives. Following OSHA’s requirements, EITI also includes a focus on the safety issues in the electric power industry.
* Also see the 10-hour Outreach Training Program for employees in the electric power industry.
