Utility Arborist Certificate
COURSE DESCRIPTION
Horticulture is an essential part of the high voltage industry. Vegetation can have a significant impact on high voltage systems. It is vital that power companies monitor and manage vegetative growth to prevent power outages and other hazards.
Utility arborists must not only know horticulture, environmental impacts and be able to project future vegetative growth, they must also understand the dangers of working near high voltage lines. And they must know how to prune and remove selected vegetation in a safe and secure manner, ensuring that debris does not come in contact with high voltage lines.
There is a high demand for employees with these skills. Get the training you need to excel in this rewarding profession. Get your training at EITI.
